WELCOME TO THE SHATTERDOME

Five years ago, the enormous monsters now known as Kaiju erupted from the Pacific Ocean, changing the world into a gigantic war zone. The world is fighting against a force unknown, and so far there seems to be only one way to stop it - The Jaegers. The Jaeger program, two pilots in one giant machine, fighting to keep the monsters at bay. Shatterdomes now exist near every coastal area in the Pacific in order to protect it's citizens from certain destruction.

But what can you do?

o1. BECOME A PILOT (a newbie looking for a partner? or an old veteran with a reputation? remember to give your jaeger a sweet name while you're at it, and be careful out there on the field and in the Drift.)

o2. STUDY THE PHENOMENON (do you study kaiju? work on the patterns of their appearances? or do you work on jaeger improvements? scientists are always needed to provide answers to questions no one saw coming.)

o3. BE THE GROUND SUPPORT (ground control, military leaders, emergency citizen evacuation workers, repairmen, as well as any average worker to keep the shatterdome in one piece. no one else can do their jobs without you.)

Some people have taken advantage of this dramatic change in other ways - the black market is teeming with men buy and selling kaiju parts for their own profit, but the underground is a dangerous place, even for the best of us.
